Squid Game Review

[This review has a lot of spoilers, read at your own cost!] From the moment I saw the trailer here, I had no patience until it was released and grew curious about this drama, so as soon as It was released I started watching it . This is not the typical genre of k-drama that I watched, but it's worthwhile! There's not much dull moments and episode will keep you interested on the next one. The concept is really good and the story was well delivered. . Here are some of the aspects we can ponder about this k-drama. THE FUNNIEST SCENE: The part where the Ki-hoon licks the honeycomb to remove the "umbrella" pattern whole, and the moment the other players also licked their honeycomb pieces were so, so funny! THE DARKEST SCENE: That night right before Game 3 where most players started killing each other- the part where the lights were blinking and the bed were collapsing is so scary and made this scene so powerful and dark!!! THE MOST HEARTBREAKING SCENE: 1)The part where J...

Etiquette of eating and drinking in South Korea

My favorite country after Sri Lanka is South Korea. One of the main reasons for this is their diet and eating ethics. So I thought I'd tell you a little bit about it in this blog πŸ‡±πŸ‡°♥️πŸ‡°πŸ‡· Table etiquette in South Korea goes back to the Confucian scenes of the Joseon Dynasty. Traditionally, South Koreans use cushions to sit on the floor and eat from a low table. The floor is usually heated by an ondol, an underfloor heating system. This custom is still common in many restaurants in South Korea. The restaurant's dining room is usually located on a high platform and guests are expected to take off their shoes before entering. Many restaurants today also have tables and chairs for guests who feel uncomfortable sitting on the floor. When eating... 🍲 🍚️South Koreans never lift a plate of rice like Chinese or Japanese. 🍚During a meal, pots and pans are on the table.  🍚️It is also unacceptable to talk about stinking or unclean things while eating with others or ...

"Trick eye" Museum in Seoul, South Korea

The museum celebrates a fun festival called ‘trompe l’oeil’ . This is a fun place in Seoul. Everything here is a combination of 2D and 3D technology and all those works of art are interconnected. That is why visitors can participate in these works of art on their own. Imagine being bitten by a snake in the water? You can climb on top of the animal and hide behind the mouth it is holding. Imagine being able to enjoy a cup of tea with a white rabbit in Alice's Wonderland? You can hold the teapot and pour the tea into the painting. There is also a place with ice output as a second museum. It is made up of a large collection of ice carvings that Seoul maintains every year. Also at no extra cost, allowing you to lower an ice slide and stand in front of giant illuminated ice wings. To get lucky to get out of this, you have to go on a path with tangled mirrors and find your way.

According to those legends, Christopher Columbus was one of the spiritual leaders of the Ojibwa people, a group of its inhabitants long before the discovery of America. One day while he was at the top of a mountain, he met another wise man named Iktomi. Iktomi appeared in the guise of an eight-legged spider. According to some legends, she was a woman. However, there was a deep conversation between the two about the good and bad of the world. (According to this ancient story, the spider said that the world is a cycle and that everyone's life is cyclical from birth to death.) During the conversation, Iktomi began to weave a net ...
