Dreamcatchers πŸ’«

I introduced myself as a startup blog .. where I mentioned that I was doing a business. I do a crafting business ... its main selling point is Dreamcatchers ... so I wanted to share some information about these Dreamcatchers with you. ♥️

What's the history of dreamcatcher πŸ’«

This is based on a legend that was spread among the Native Americans.
According to those legends, Christopher Columbus was one of the spiritual leaders of the Ojibwa people, a group of its inhabitants long before the discovery of America. One day while he was at the top of a mountain, he met another wise man named Iktomi. Iktomi appeared in the guise of an eight-legged spider. According to some legends, she was a woman. However, there was a deep conversation between the two about the good and bad of the world.

(According to this ancient story, the spider said that the world is a cycle and that everyone's life is cyclical from birth to death.)

During the conversation, Iktomi began to weave a net from their sacrificial objects, such as feathers, horse thread, beads, and a willow ring, which the spiritual leader possessed. During this very long conversation, this weaving has continued unabated. It is said that he presented the Ojibwa spiritual leader with the willow ring, which was beautifully woven at the end of the conversation. From then on, the tradition of catching good dreams and destroying bad dreams began among these Native Americans.
What kind of things do willow rings symbolize?

🌻 Symbolize the energy of the sun

There's a hole in the middle of a dream catcher. This hole symbolizes the energy of the sun. Native Americans believe that good air in the night air is absorbed through that hole and gives a good night's sleep. They also believed that nightmares that interfere with a good night's sleep would be trapped in the nets and destroyed by the morning sun. Although Dream Catchers are everywhere as a decoration these days, many people are unaware that the tradition is to hang them above the bed.

🌻 Founder of the Life Network

In the early days, Dream Catchers were created using red willow twigs and plant fibers. In addition, bird feathers, shells, arrowheads, and even gemstones of some value have been used. Each time a gemstone is used, only one gemstone is used to commemorate the creator of this web of life.

🌻The eight legs of the wise spider

There were only eight links to the ring net around traditional dream catchers. The reason for this is to commemorate the eight feet of the wise spider who gave this creation to the world.

"The people of Christopher Columbus' generation, who invaded the United States a long time ago, did not allow these indigenous people to live freely. They even banned the religious beliefs of the natives. In those days, certain religious symbols were considered illegal. Accordingly, this wonderful design that catches dreams has also become a banned item. But with the US-Indian Religious Freedom Act lifting the ban in 1978, the Dreamcatcher tradition began to spread around the world."

Today, this wonderful dream catcher has come a long wayπŸ’«♥️. Although Dream Catchers are made of different types of embroidery using different materials such as fabrics and ribbons, some of its traditional features still survive today. It deviates from its original purpose of dreaming and appears as a mere decoration. Although its original story and associated culture are not known, it is gratifying to note that this marvelous creation of Native Americans is still a symbol of those who value peace of mind and the environment around them. So the colorful feathers dancing in the wind in front of our eyes when we go to sleep can really lighten our minds.πŸ˜ŒπŸ’«

Below I will upload some pictures of the Dreamcatchers I made πŸ™ˆ♥️

cactus and succulents

As a  cactus and succulents lover, I madly wanted to write a blog about them...... While there's a difference between cacti and succulents, they're also closely related. "Cactus" denotes a botanical family. Succulents are a broader group referring to a type of plant included in several botanical families. While all cacti are considered to be succulents, some succulents are not cacti. Cacti and Succulent Popularity Cacti (the bigger ones, at least) are well known even to those who have little interest in horticulture, likely in part because Hollywood westerns turned cacti into iconic figures. Succulents have also increased in popularity due to their low-maintenance care, making them an ideal choice for first-time plant owners. Kimchi

What exactly is kimchi? Kimchi is a name that refers to a variety of salted, seasoned, and fermented vegetable foods. Kimchi has a long and illustrious history. There are now hundreds of kimchi variants in Korea, which originated from pickled vegetables. Korean kimchi has earned global popularity as a healthful probiotic food over the last decade or two. Kimchi is high in beneficial lactic acid bacteria, has powerful anti-oxidant and anti-cancer properties, and aids in the prevention of aging. How to make kimchi Start with one cabbage, and then move to 2 or 3 by doubling or tripling the recipe. Making kimchi usually starts with salting the main vegetable. For this pogi kimchi, you need to cut the whole cabbage in half lengthwise, and then into quarters. If you’re using 2 small cabbages, cutting in half should be enough. You then need to thoroughly bathe each cabbage half/quarter in the salt water one at a time. Using the other half cup of salt, generously sprinkle salt over the thick w...

Love never dies, If it die, there is no love ..

Love never dies, If it die, there is no love .. There are still thousands of secrets hidden in this city sigh of relief. Even today, the bar in the city is full of lovers Filled with mourning songs Time has covered us so much that you and I can't even meet in a breath People between encounters, separations, breakups How helpless? Still in the middle of nowhere in this city Your voice echoes! But I will not shed another tear for this beloved city .. Putting all the memories of you and me together in one breath Then I will leave this city...... You know, sweetheart! Although everyone remembers, Can't walk between memories like this
